Jesus Loves Good Christians
Author(s):

Jesus Loves Good Christians follows the rise of a fictional cable televangelist show based out of Dallas, TX. When the Holy Holy Bloody Statue of Jesus Christ is discovered to have magical healing powers, chaos ensues as people scramble to get healed of their 'sins and cellulite' free of charge. But there is a greater price to pay for salvation - the sacrifice of the true self, true love, and the freedom to challenge one's beliefs.
For Ralph Worthington, a wealthy businessman in New York City, true love is sacrificed for his religious beliefs which state that all 'homosexuals are sinful and their love is unnatural and against God.' When all hope is lost for Jessica Magdala, a lonely production assistant with a secret fetish for Jesus, a friendly stranger tries to instill her weakening faith in her fellow human beings. From wild and wacky to dark and disturbing, Jesus Loves Good Christians offers a satirical look into the deceptive powers of commercialized organized religion and the frail mallability of the human spirit.
